Simplified, it can be said that automatic revolving doors are essentially manual doors as we know them, but supplemented with an electric drive. For this reason, their installation does not require any structural modifications. In some cases, it is even possible to add a drive unit to existing doors, instantly transforming ordinary manual doors into automatic revolving doors.
Thanks to the mentioned technical solution, the doors can boast yet another advantage: depending on the traffic, they can be switched from fully automatic to partially or fully manual, thus reducing their (already low) electricity consumption.
